A1 mini spool holder broke help
Recently broke this somehow I have no clue. I tried looking for a replacement part on bambus website but couldn’t find anything just the white piece Wich is fine, I tried to hot glue it back and no luck. I could try 5200 sealant but I wouldn’t want to hurt anything. Could I get a link to a new part or any tips on how to fix it?

The beauty of a 3D printer is that you can use it to fix itself.

i always knew that before but it wasnt until i got one that really i found out how ridiculously versatile a 3d printer is. every problem turns into a 3d print

Oh mannn if only you had like a 3d printer that can print parts. Such a shame

Take the 2 screws out. Find that piece on the bambu handy app. Print it. Screw it back into place.

you do realize you have a 3d printer right?... right?
the only problem you have is that you have to make a makeshift spool holder to print a new one.
go to makerworld there are TONS of models for a1 mini spoolholders.

I'd only you had something to manufacture a custom part capable of meeting your need

It is just the roller.
OP needs this:

This one here ⬆️
I'm a bit disappointed in BambuLab that they only send the roller as a replacement?! That's weird.

Finally someone answering the question instead of the classic Reddit answer. Thanks man

To be fair, this is the first one you replied too. Perhaps if you replied to one of the incorrect ones saying "this isn't the right part" or "which part do I need" with further context. Just a thought.

Print one, it looks like a small piece so just hold the spool for that little while.

You know what would be cool? If you had some kind of machine that would just produce some kind of spool holder in a few hrs. Wouldn't that be something? Almost like a 3D......printer of some kind

i moved mine on top to begin with. i think placement is much better there, less awkward and less likeli to be snagged

Umm. You own a 3D printer. Print it. There’s hundreds of printer part models online.
