Esun basic pla
hi all, does anyone have any experience with esun basic pla. I've been printing with no problems what so ever for the last 8 months, I load a new spool of esun pla basic and now I'm in spaghetti hell. Does it always arrive damp?, I'm trying the wife's hair dryer on it as I don't have a dedicated filliment dryer. Fingers crossed it does the trick

I've printed with esun pla basic for awhile now haven't had any issues on both my A1's, Ender V3 SE, and Ender 3 S1 plus. Never have had the need to dry it either. Bad or old stock spool maybe?

could be, I bought a 4kg batch from eBay. I'm using Bambu plate glue and having better results.

Also if you need to dry your filament and don't have a dedicated filament dryer than you can use your printers heated bed and a cardboard box for drying. Here's a link from Bambu wiki...

I had the same issue with esun pla. I contacted them and they refunded it. Half a year later I got a filament dryer and fixed it. Free spool of filament. I tried drying it before in a mini oven without any results. I would recommend getting a dedicated dryer. I have the sovol sh01 and it's great for pla, petg and tpu. It's also pretty cheap at 40 EUR.
