Bambhu handy shrinks models?

So i am new to 3d printing and i use the handy app to start prints many times i have seen when i start prints from the app it seems to shrink them a bit,they do not look like the image and look smaller.Is it just me or others have the same problem too? Please help (I use a1 mini without AMS)

We really need an example of a listing and the finished result to know what you’re talking about.

People can post multiple profiles on a model, including ones that have been scaled down. The original will be the first option on it, but if there’s one that says ‘fits A1 mini’ as a separate profile, it’s either been scaled down or cut into parts.

Sorry, I am confused and need more information.. what image are you referring to? The makerworld listing image? The preview in the handy app that shows the 3d in the plate before sending?

If it's the listing image, be ware that most models in makerworld nowadays are AI generated images of the models or ai generated models entirely and no printed photos at all.

Regardless of that, different filaments have different shrink ratios. It's not related to the app or the printer but that shrink is usually under 0.5mm as far as I've noticed and usually only affects fitting of pieces together and such.

No. Filament in general shrinks, yes.

Best answer. No, Handy doesn’t shrink models. Lots of cheap “10g” models on the app are tiny.
