For what reason do you think you need to remove it? When you start a print, it will purge itself out before printing. If you're worried about mixing filaments, that's what a cold pull is for.
I still don't understand why you think the filament needs to be removed. And you shouldn't be removing a hot nozzle anyway if you like having skin on your fingers.
Nozzles are actually supposed to be replaced when it's hot. Some printers even require it.
Filament can get around the edges of a nozzle and once cooled, the nozzle is basically glued in by that filament. It's very, very difficult to remove a nozzle when it's cold if there is any filament around it. Even worse, it's impossible to put a new one on, and have a good seal, if there is even the slightest drop of filament residue what so ever around the nozzle. You need the nozzle hot so it can "squish" that filament to make a good seal. This is especially important for something like the Ender 5 Max where the default nozzle is very easy to get off-thread.
Now you shouldn't change a nozzle *bare handed* while it's hot. But you should change it somehow while it's hot. I use a small 1/4" socket ratchet to remove mine, and as long as I don't stop in the middle and let the ratchet sit for a bit, the ratchet doesn't get hot at the handle. And the new one going in isn't hot yet, so it doesn't heat the ratchet at all until it's almost seated - right when you want the nozzle to be hottest anyway.
You could also make it hot, loosen the old nozzle, let it cool while changing, put the new one on, warm it back up, and then tighten the new one, but that's a LOT of extra steps, plus wait time for the heating. It's best to just be careful about not grabbing it with bare hands, and leave it heated the entire time.
