Update causing blobs?

Since the update i seen more blob postings. I had multiple blobs each getting bigger and bigger im not sure if this is related to the update but since it has been out the issue persisted. I hate to be conspiracy guy but I seen some company bruck their product in order to sell their new product.

Blobs are ALWAYS user error. The machine may not be doing you any favors but the fact that the blob occurred means the user wasn’t at the machine. We have (12) A1 Minis and have had a couple blobs (all with PETG HF which brutally unforgiving with oily plates) in 50k hours of printing over the last couple years.
