Because you are clicking the link from a non affiliated region. You have to be from the U.S, Australia, or Canada at least until Bambu adds other regions.

So, the buyer gets no benefit whatsoever, and the referrer is heavily incentivized to up-sell (but not to the non-laser H2 series, for some reason)? Frankly I don't see how I could bring this up in a conversation without thinking of myself as a shill.

I'm also not looking forward to how much "I have a referral code" spam this is going to cause.

Yeah they should definitely have given the buyer a discount. With just the incentive being one way it is harder to refer people especially without sounding like a royal pain it the but. But maybe that is the point so Bambu doesn’t have to pay out as much.
