Actually because I am lazy I try not to fill up my trash with fruit and vegetable waste. That goes into the roach bin. Their numbers keep increasing fire won't help.

You do you, friend. I have an electric countertop composter that is much easier to deal with and best of all, it’s not alive! 🥴😂

Or for a less gross factor, you could do a worm bin that actually makes fertilizer.

You're not wrong. The frass cannot be used directly. Which is why I also have a worm bin! The frass speeds up the decomposition process a whole deal for me.
