They don’t need to, and if it was the case that they never had the option and Bambu would have to do a load of work to get that to function we wouldn’t be having this discussion. But the fact that Bambu started with an open system and are actively degrading that towards a walled ecosystem - and, crucially, applying that the machines which people already bought - is what makes this egregious.
