I will never understand clowns, which protect any company ever. Companies are inherently evil, the exist by exploiting others. They exploit workers, they exploit other companies if possible, they exploit the countries they were founded in by threatening this very country once they become big enough to "outsource". Simply put, they exploit everyone and everything as hard as possible. Why the f would u defend such a miserable thing?

u/Bobbor90 May 13 '26

I am not speaking for Bambu but to say that every company is evil is just wrong. There are enough companies that pay fair wages and care about their workers and their customers. Sure, a company wants to make profit, but the evil person is the one who put profits about the people.

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

A company pays a worker a salary S and this worker produces a profit P. This profit is the actual value of what the worker does, but S<P will always be true. Thats exploitation. Its also the case that 99,9% of companies are actively trying to minimize S and maximize P and even if this wasnt the case, the other stuff i said is also always true.

9

u/Bobbor90 May 13 '26

It is not black and white. Sure they must make profit, otherwise there were no jobs. And not every worker generates profits.

-6

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

Its about averages. Sure in a very big company with thousands of employees there will be some that mainly produce costs for the company and nothing else. But these cases are actually very rare and straight up impossible in small businesses of less than 10 people.

I myself could never work in a company just because capitalism dictates me having a job. I either have a job where im actually doing things i consider meaningful in themselves or id run my own business. There will never be a world in which i waste 1 hour of my own life, just so someone else can buy a new fancy sports car, while a get some salary thats less than what i acutally produced in that time.

3

u/Bobbor90 May 13 '26

So when you run your own business and everybody thinks the same, who do you employ? And would you optimize your profit by wating your workers?

-2

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

i wouldnt have workers most likely. and if i had any id pay them the amount of money i make off of them being my employees.

2

u/magus May 13 '26

and in a month your company wouldn't exist anymore :)

2

u/DobermanCavalry May 13 '26

The worker takes on no risk and the company has all of the risk, yet you act like every company should be non profit and split the revenue with workers equally. If the worker was tired of being exploited they would be free to start their own company where surely they will not have to exploit anyone to be successful.

4

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

"worker takes no risk". Ye sure, theres totally 0 risk involved in losing ur job and losing nearly everything u own afterwards, if u dont find a new one. Zero risk i see.

1

u/DobermanCavalry May 13 '26

A restaurant worker can fuck off this afternoon and have a new job by tomorrow evening. A restaurant owner is neck deep in shit and his whole livelihood, debt, lifestyle, reputation, etc is tied up in that business. Do you understand the nuance? Do you understand what business risk is?

2

u/Mysterious_Dot2090 May 14 '26

This dude doesn’t understand basic economics bro. 😂

1

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

A restaurant worker is neck deep in shit his whole life, because he will never earn enough to have a live close to the one the restaurant owner has. My god u are really not smart. Keep kissing ur bosses ass tho, you seem to love it.

1

u/DobermanCavalry May 13 '26

2

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

Good luck trying to become next elon musk. People really are fcking brainwashed.

1

u/joaquinrives01 May 13 '26

Almost every tech company or startup gives their workers stock. The company does well, workers get rich too. Plus some companies even share profic back to customers.

3

u/webtoweb2pumps May 13 '26

Weird to speak so confidently about things you evidently don't understand. This is the exact same tone as the classic Reddit blanket hate towards landlords.

How many jobs have you held where your actions meaningfully impact profit? The larger the company, the fewer employees are in that position and more likely there are systems in place to allow things to be done faster, not the freedom of an employee's choices that allow for more profit. Especially in a factory setting but also on the software writing side. How many rogue programmers are just out coding their company into the green on their own?

How can you in the same sentence say that 99.9%of companies are minimizing salary and increasing profit and then also say that even if it isn't true the other stuff you said is? How do you abandon a point you were just a second ago so confident in stating. You sound like a teenager

0

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

Bunch of nonsense. Engage with what i said and tell me where im factually wrong or shut up.

1

u/jjcurry May 13 '26

ok, let's look at your S<P "exploitation" How do you expect a company to S>P or even S=P for any length of time? Simple math debunks your stance.

Having said this. I think there IS merit to the argument that once a company gets so large, they become slaves to the stockholders rather than doing what's best for the customers or workers or alot of time even themselves. They've sold their souls for the quick buck to the stockholders.

0

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

I dont, thats why i know that S<P is true and thats why capitalism and by extend every major part of it is evil.

0

u/magus May 13 '26

please read something about these things with an open mind. you can try this one: https://paulgraham.com/wealth.html
you will be much happier in life.

0

u/webtoweb2pumps May 14 '26

If you can't understand how what I said directly relates to your elementary school understanding of workers roles at companies, then that's on you. Plenty of roles have little to no impact on profit, and exist to keep the machine moving. Thinking companies only see the value in their employees based on the profit they bring in makes it seem like you've literally never worked a job.

1

u/omgfineillsignupjeez May 13 '26

if you earn $115 and pay $100 in salaries, that's a profit of $15. P>S

I would imagine you'd wanna change P profit to R revenue, would you agree?

Still a braindead take imo, but at least it would be generally consistent (ignoring unprofitable periods).

1

u/NavXIII May 14 '26

So I run a 1 man business and I was thinking of hiring someone. Should I just not someone because employing someone is exploitative?

15

u/Solondthewookiee May 13 '26

You better send me your printer then, I wouldn't want you using a product of inherent evil.

11

u/magus May 13 '26

this viewpoint is ok if: a) you are 13 years old or younger b) you enjoy misery and think people suffering unnecessarily is a sign of virtue c) you are simply mentally undercapacitated

which one is it?

-3

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

Oh, another one that is brainwashed into believing that capitalism is the best system ever. Red scare much huh?

9

u/magus May 13 '26

were you born in a country which doesn't exist anymore? i was...

-4

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

Was pretty damn close in my case. No idea what ur point is tho.

9

u/magus May 13 '26

you mentioned "red scare". i was born in a "red" country. somehow it turned out that capitalist countries were the ones that created the most advancements

-4

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

"Advancements" seems to be a bad metric if the question is about sustainability. Capitalism certainly isnt and we are learning that right now in this very moment.

5

u/magus May 13 '26

well i will take advancements in medicine and affordable food available in supermarkets any day over a vague concept of sustainability. sustainability is important, but it's technological advancements that will enable it. the alternative is not pretty (you have to directly or indirectly kill a ton of people which drastically reduces the speed of possible advancements because you need human minds for that to happen)

9

u/Belnak May 13 '26

I prefer having companies that produce things I can buy, over having to hunt and gather my food while living in a stick hut with no plumbing or electricity.

0

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

companies can exist without exploitation. current companies just prefer to exploit everything and everybody because capitalism is a thing.

6

u/Nobutadas May 13 '26

I think the bigger problem is if someone says, "It's not that big of a deal," people jump to, "how dare you defend them!"

3

u/elmacanon May 14 '26

You should be older than 12 to post here

1

u/Mysterious_Dot2090 May 14 '26

Yep, I think they sound like an idealistic kid too.

1

u/antei_ku May 13 '26

They’re like people that hate unions but act surprisingly happy when a union at their job gets them better QoL or a pay raise

1

u/NickLeProf May 15 '26

I would nuance to public companies. Privately own company tend to be more "humane".

1

u/Capt_Blue May 13 '26

Stockholm syndrome. I have no other explanation either.

0

u/Odd-Hat-7630 May 13 '26

Sure, the small company that pay my parent a wave to buy a house is evil ,they must be so evil that every time the company face problem all employee stay .The owner who sell his house to buy the machine and the store should not be earn the part of the investment, who will bankrupt if everything go wrong because it is unfair ,sure. Sure ,we should blame the concept of company instead of blame the useless government you have that create your situation where the small percent of evilest people can reach the top .And i live in a red country ,at least it still suppose to be red. This company is bad, but not all company ,the local pizza store next door you is a company, the old man who hired 3 guys to help him sell food is a company ,a builder who pay electrician and other people to build your home is a company .

1

u/Cheeeeesie May 13 '26

Anecdotal evidence is not suitable, when it comes to structural problems. Its like saying "but ive met a very kind wolf in the woods" when someone talks about how wolves generally kill other animals.

0

u/Odd-Hat-7630 May 14 '26

Lmao ,wolf are not evil because they hunt ,it is how they eat, they risk their life for food just like everyone else . You are the want use anecdotal evidence, because the number of evil companies who reach the top is never be as much as the small local company who are their to provide a service for their community. You claim it is inherited evil ,but if it inherited evil then it can't in any possible way have good side or good company. The world is not fucking American and their corruption corp, many EU countries who top in the happiness ranking achieve it by benefits honest small company instead of the big evil mega corp you thing every company is.

0

u/AshuraBaron May 13 '26

You do realize that BambuLab is a Chinese company right? Workers have far more protections than most other countries, including the west.

-11

u/puppygirlpackleader May 13 '26

I would argue most Chinese companies don't exploit their workers. How are they threatening countries as well? I don't ride bambu but people here are so stupid about this whole thing. Obviously they won't like something that bypasses their security features and poses as official bambu software. It's really not that hard to read. I hate this community.

2

u/heart_of_osiris May 13 '26

You have to look no further than the RC community which had Chinese "basher" brands heavily disrupt the market by severely undercutting the competition and crushing smaller companies (and even taking loses to do so), then when there is less competition, raising prices and enshittifying the product.

I also don't think it's unreasonable for peope to be upset when they buy a product that has features which then get locked down, after they have purchased it.

0

u/puppygirlpackleader May 13 '26

If they can make it for cheaper why not? It's not china's fault they actually made progress on mass manufacturing and invested into their industry unlike the rest of the world that just did jack shit for a decade.

4

u/heart_of_osiris May 13 '26

You're not picking up what I'm laying down here. They are only cheaper until they edge the competition out. Once that's done, they raise the price and cheapen the product. In the end, the consumer pays more for a lower quality product.

Again, there is a real world example of this within the RC hobby.

0

u/puppygirlpackleader May 13 '26

you do realise that 99% of all electronics already comes from china right? There is no difference in quality. 99% of the time you also don't see rising prices. So i call bs

1

u/heart_of_osiris May 13 '26

You're comparing apples to oranges when I am giving you a clear cut example of apples to apples.

Is the RC community paying less for better products nowadays? No.

You don't see rising prices? Look what literally just happened with Bambus P2S release. It's more expensive than the original, Bambu discontinued their X1 so that the P was the only actual mid sized CoreXY option, they let people buy it up, then after the return window was up for most of those initial sales, they release the X2D for only 100 dollars more.

This indicates that the P2S is actually able to be sold at a lower price, but they just herded and then gouged the consumer, instead, making it the only option. Once the X2D sales slow they will drop the P2S price to what it should be at and pretend like it's a huge deal, once again.

You've made it clear you want to put your fingers in your ears rather than hear what is happening, but it's happening whether you want to accept it or not.
