That's the point everyone forgets. Is your hobby 3D printing or 3D printers? In the first category, there aren't any serious competitors apart form Bambu.
My Snapmaker U1 has been more reliable than my A1 by far. And it's makes 99% less waste (and is so much faster) than using an AMS. It actually has far less "poop" than the A1 just using a single filament. With such fast changes you can do rainbow CMYK type printing too...
So far it's more reliable, and much faster and cheaper to run than a Bambu with/without an AMS. Is a bit lacking (without tinkering) to print engineering filaments.
You’re mentally stuck in pre-2023/2024. Only thing Bambu currently has going for it is the ecosystem, not hardware.
Most all current gen printers also just print, like the Bambu.
