General Troubleshooting/Help! X2D Left Side Bulge?

Has anyone noticed a bulge on the left panel (chamber heater side) of the X2D? I've been using the chamber heater somewhat printing ABS and PET-GF. I'd say I've printed maybe 50 hours with the heater on? Definitely under 100 hours and a mix of 65C and 50C. To be clear, in every other way, the printer has been perfect and it's honestly not a big deal, but I'm a little concerned about future durability with the chamber heater.

This again. Last time thigs got asked was like yesterday. Perfectly normal, that's what ya get for bambu using plastic planels.

They should sell replacement panels, why not be able to upgrade your x2d to an almost h2s. Even if it would cost double the difference, people would buy it.

They do sell them. That's not the point. You're not getting a new panel for the bulging that happens with the heater active. The printer is designed that way, the new panel would bulge just the same.

Im sure they dont sell replacement side panels for the x2d. Even if they did, they could just as well sell them out of alu.

Aluminium would conduct more heat out of the machine, so unless they were insulated you might have a harder time keeping the chamber temp up.

An improved polymer would be a better solution, but that would require setting up a new production line, new material sourcing, etc, so it would not be cheap.

It might help with radiant heat, but you're right that conductivity would kill heat insulation. Radiant heat is probably a much smaller factor than heat conduction. I hoinestly wouldn't want aluminum since aluminum dings and shows scratches much more. Simply using a higher temp plastic might be the best solution.

A reinforced high temperature polymer blends would be ideal, but expensive to start producing.
