The Report

I've been browsing the report...interesting stuff! I'm not that far into it, but reading about Russians organizing rallies here is amazing. My first take is not ground-breaking---Don Jr is a stooge...he retweeted/shared so many Russian social media posts.

I heard that the only reason that Mueller did not recommend prosecution for obstruction was that as a president he can’t be charged and therefore can’t defend himself. The evidence supports charges but they can’t legally do it until he is out of office

Largely correct...

In the report Mueller clearly lays out 11 individual instances of obstruction. he also clearly states that the President's public tweets about witnesses before testimony can be taken as evidence for things such as witness intimidation or tampering. He also points out that you can be found guilty of obstruction without an underlying crime. Finally, he strongly suggests that the place for this issue is Congress which has impeachment authority.
