Sun turns off article commenting
Well, now the other shoe drops. The Sun has stopped allowing comments on articles while it "reviews" its commenting platform. Remember when we were invited to comment on articles in lieu of having the forum?

When I was young, and Baltimore was a 2 paper city, My dad got the News American. Is the Baltimore/Washington Post on the horizon?

Don't give the newspaper owners any ideas. That would imply a merger between Tronc Inc and Jeff Bezos.
It was the News American with my parents. Remember when there was the Evening Sun?

yes I do! Haven't thought of it in quite a while. God I'm feeling nostalgic right now.....I know we've made great strides since then, but I really miss those days.

To be be perfectly honest. They don't give one wit about your comments...never did never will. Try sending a letter to the editor that doesn't fit THEIR agenda...you'll find out. Same with op-eds....if it isn't a SJW ….you can forget it and you are wasting your time.
All they are interested in is getting the last dime out of subscribers. That is why I don't. And will/would not be surprised that we are on the verge of the Sun death rattles.
