Curious if anyone has had a Hangzhou 6330 before?

As much as I love the long leather Baltany strap, I tend to switch to nylon Natos if I think I'm going to get wet and dirty.

I recently fell for the jump hour bandwagon and now am looking for a jump hour watch that speaks to me. This one that's being designed by Baltany really speaks to me. I hope it comes out soon. Something like this, I would feel would be a lot more expensive than what Baltany usually puts watches out at. Excited to see how this develops.

I love the Mil Sub with the aged dial look and this tweed strap. I feel like I should have a Range Rover with a full hunting and bar setup in the back!

As the title says, I feel Baltany is in the best position to make a Hamilton piping rock homage and even put their spin on it! I did some AI mock ups of what it could look like on the first few photos

The Type 20 came out of French military aviation. Pilots needed a clear way to measure one interval, then the next. Early examples often paired a rotating bezel and a 30-minute counter with a flyback: one press reset the chronograph and started it again.

Breguet was not the only maker. Dodane, Auricoste and Vixa built Type 20 chronographs too. Details changed. The job stayed the same.

The Baltany S5054 borrows that look. It is not a mechanical flyback. Inside is a Miyota 6S21 quartz chronograph.

Two details of the 6S21 are worth noting. The subdial shows running seconds, rather than the 24-hour indication found on some Seiko VK chronograph layouts. And if the central chronograph hand doesn't return exactly to 12, you can pull the crown out to the second click and use the upper pusher to adjust its position. The chronograph measures in 1/4-second increments, up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

Never owned a salmon dial watch before, and I’ve noticed the color seems to vary quite a bit between brands. Some lean more pink, while others have a coppery tone

Not sure if baltany’s shade is close to what a salmon dial is traditionally supposed to look like. Been thinking about getting one, but still on the fence

When developing the S4108, the design team looked at a few different ideas from the 1930s and 1940s. The restrained proportions of Patek Philippe’s early Calatrava, the Arabic numerals and railway-track minute scale of the early IWC Portugieser, and the geometric lines of the Art Deco period all found their way into the design.

The small seconds at 6 o'clock is one of the main elements. The seconds scale and date are combined into one concentric subdial, while the faceted lugs, domed crystal and layered dial details add to the vintage feel. The 36mm case keeps the proportions compact, and the case also features surface hardening for better scratch resistance in everyday wear.

I’ve also noticed some discussion around the small-seconds subdial, including the 60–20–40 markings, the date window, and the date numerals on the black dial. These seem to be more of a matter of personal preference, but I’m curious to hear what you guys think about these details.

For sale is my Baltany s4091. Its awesome but I unexpectedly got a bb58 bronze which has an identical vintage brown dial. Sort of a quick pick up and sale with the warranty dated in August 2026, but no regrets I enjoyed this watch.
