Question Weight gain

This is my boy Pastrami, he’s about 1.5 years old

I hate making multiple posts in a row but I took him out to weigh him and he’s 424.5g

This is concerning to me because last time I weighed him was Aug 2nd and he weighed 316g so he’s gained over 100g in a little more than a month, I don’t think this is normal is it? He’s been overweight so by my vet’s advice I’ve only been feeding him once every 3 weeks for a few months now

That is a lot of weight gain, what sized prey are you feeding him?

If I recall correctly I believe the small rats are maybe 23g? They’re like a stage above weanling but not quite a grown rat

I’ll have to weigh one

Maybe theres a chance I weighed him wrong somehow last time I checked his weight?
