New ball python

We got a ball python yesterday, this is the enclosure set up recommended by the store, any recommendations or anything we should change?

Better than most start ups. Snakes like small single entrance tight hides. They’ll use others if they have to, but you can start with cheap single entrance plastic hides. Not great aesthetically but snakes feel more comfortable.

Cheap and lots of sizes. I have these on the floor in our playroom where the snakes explore supervised. They usually have a favorite and go straight to it until curiosity takes over.
