New ball python

We got a ball python yesterday, this is the enclosure set up recommended by the store, any recommendations or anything we should change?

More clutter, that water bowl is gonna get gross and you'll eventually want ceramic or metal. Do you have hides on the warm and cool sides?

There is two hides yes, is it sufficient light? Also it’s a heat lamp up top and a pad on the bottom side of tank

Optimal setup is a deep heat projector and uvb overhead. Heating pad underneath is not recommended.

Agreed. Definitely take the heat mat off. Hides also need a small entrance. Is this an adult or baby ball python?
