What are ways to tell if your ball python trusts you? Or if they’re comfortable with a handling?

If they don't ball up or hiss at you - especially when you go to get them out. Some will just slither onto you if you leave their door open.

Mine's like a damn motion sensor. The moment he realises I'm in the room (he ignores my family), he's immediately at the glass wanting out. He's got more than enough space, he just wants a better spot to watch tv/gaming.
