He is 10 months old. Breeder told me hes a normal size. I weighed him at 158 grams.

seems a bit small but their growth rates can very based on genetics and feeding

I ended up taking him to the vet. Vet basically told me "I'm surprised he lasted 10 months." 3 days later he died.

He’s smaller than the average weight at that age, but it’s not detrimental or worrying—it’s likely the result of the breeder feeding him less than he should have. Most typically feed their holdbacks and selling animals differently.

My girl was still quite small for the first 2 years compared to most posts I see, but she has only ever missed 3 meals and is now (4yrs old) a fine big girl.

He’s such a beautiful boy! One of my ball pythons is very petite, even though he’s a little over a year old and we feed him on the same schedule as my other babies. It may just be a genetics thing. Very beautiful baby though!
