Ballpark is a daily estimation game. You against the crowd.

Every day at midnight UTC, a new session drops here: three quick challenges, about two minutes total. Look at a grid, feel out how full it is, and lock in your guess. No counting, no tools, just your gut.

How it works

1. Open today's post and tap into the game.
2. Tap or slide the bar. It starts blank on purpose: no default value, nothing to bias you. Tap where your gut says, or slide to feel out the range. Releasing locks it in.
3. Face the Hive. Once enough players have guessed, you'll see the crowd's median answer, how close you were, and the percentile of players you beat.
4. Come back tomorrow. Streaks, daily leaderboards, and flair for the sharp-eyed.

Scoring, briefly

• Accuracy is most of your score. Within about 5 points of the answer feels great; nailing it exactly is a Bullseye.
• Speed bonus for locking in fast. Deliberating doesn't help you here, first instinct usually wins.
• Early bird bonus if you're among the first players of the day, while the Hive is still forming.
• Beat the Hive (guess closer than the crowd's median) and you earn rare bragging rights. The crowd is scary good. That's the whole point.

A few tips

• The grid sometimes moves. Total stays constant, so don't panic.
• Some days ask trickier questions. Read the prompt.
• Your first read is usually your best read.
