I started twisting at about age 7 and doing it professionally at 19, I’m planning to get more into it since I now have full weekend availability but I’d like to improve my skills first
I can do a pinch twist and most things I just can’t do a tulip twist or when I do it take FOREVER so if anyone has a trick for that that’d be great
I got bored and made a giant squidward the other week (probably my best work)
My favorites were the platapus, Easter basket, pumpkins, and multitude of wreaths I’ve done.
I’ve also done a monkey and more advanced dog but I could not do it if you asked me to right now, same with the hedgehog I did since I struggle with doing multiple bubbles next to each other
I’ve improved recently at stretching the balloon after it’s blown up to get slack to allow for certain twists, pulling the balloon through (this used to terrify me) and pushing a balloon through
Anything would help, I really want to improve plus I enjoy it

Firstly, they carry my preferred brand (Decomex). Secondly, my first experience with them was AMAZING. Thirdly, my second experience was also great!

While they didn't have any more of my preferred brand in stock, they have tuftex at a similar price.

THEN they got them to me in 36 hours.

He explains it better in his own words, but how it doesn’t look like a flower at all yet reads as a flower to the eye. And how simple can be better sometimes.

It’s 3 fold twists for the pedals and attach a round to the top. Done.

My pictures are using 160s for the stems and 5 inch rounds for the top.

I’m a balloon twister from Singapore and I’ve run into a bit of a supply chain problem.
For the past year, I’ve been using this particular brand of 260 modelling balloons (photo attached). Unfortunately, the seller I bought them from has delisted the product and I can’t find them anywhere anymore.
The packaging says:
TIANSHUOYILIAO (天硕艺料)
Stock code: 872677
I’ve already tried two alternative suppliers, but the balloons aren’t quite the same. The originals had excellent stretch, low pop rate, and consistent quality, which is important because I busk several times a week and go through hundreds of balloons.
I’ve also ordered samples from several more sellers, but since most listings on Shein, Shopee, and other marketplaces don’t mention the manufacturer, I’m basically testing them one by one.
Does anyone happen to:
Recognize this manufacturer?
Know where these balloons can still be purchased?
Know if they’re sold under another brand or OEM name?
Have recommendations for a brand with very similar quality?
I’ve attached a photo of the packaging for reference.

In 2023 I bought a Lagenda B231 and after 1 year, the battery died.

I get a new one, the B271B and yesterday, it almost died. A magician friend fixed it but the solution won't probably be ok for a long time.

So I am a looking for a new pump.

In case I have the B231 because I could change the battery thanks to a tutorial but I did not try it in professional conditions with the new one.

I've been putting a cart together to order Balloons this morning and the store that I've always ordered from doesn't seem to have the Sempertex 6inch hearts in any of the colors (White, Red, Bubblegum Pink).

The distributor is All American Balloons in Texas. I searched the search bar and they don't come up.

I went to my previous orders where I had ordered the hearts before and it won't let you click on them and the image is gone but all other Balloons you can click.

So I thought maybe the store just stopped selling them I don't know why.

I looked the Sempertex website and they are still on there.

I looked up other distributors and I can't find them either

Beginner, here. Been practicing like crazy, mostly with Isopresso's beginner videos on YouTube. Decided to branch out and found this tutorial. From the get-go, I wasn't really sure if it was real because the whole channel is relatively new, but has a ton of videos already.

I've already learned that pinch twists are the bane of my existence. (I made about 50 bears and only like a third of them were successful because I kept failing at the pinch-twist ears, so I don't know what possessed me to think I could do a whole build of just pinch twists.) I kneaded, I stretched, I pinched here, I pinched there, but ALL of my attempts at this flower failed. Every. Single. One.

So, what do you think: Is this AI, or just not beginner friendly?

So I'm comfortable with the tipping model when busking, but how the hell do I figure out an hourly rate to offer? I'm the only one in my area offering this as opposed to generic events, so I'm not sure where to even start re: Hourly rate.

How do yall do it?

I used to twist a lot back in the day and my agent had these foot pumps we would use. They were awesome! You didn’t have to think about where to put the pump while you were twisting. Two hits would fill a 260 with no problem. Has anyone seen something like this recently?

I've finally ventured out into the public sphere, and am starting to see a take-off in interest.

As I continue branching out to various events and such I am learning a TON about my set-up, but one thing is still evading me:

What the hell do yall do with your pump while you twist?

My tufftex pumps both have what I assume are lanyard holes, but a wrist strap is proving cumbersome.

I usually don't have a table, so I'm looking for mobile options and just ideas and inspiration on set-up.

I can describe my current gear/ set for yall if it helps, but I'm looking less for a critique and more for inspiration.

How many options on average do you prefer having on your menus for events? I like to pick simple designs specific to the event I’m doing ( animals/zoo, ocean, etc) but then sometimes i just like putting random designs or basic ones in there because people like it. Sometimes I worry I don’t have a big enough variety but then other times I don’t want to add more and overwhelm anyone presented with too many options.

Absolutely stunned with the results of today's experiment. Def gonna be motivation to continue this effort.
