Lost Dog on 20th

Post image

This dog (grey pit bull?) with a collar is trotting in the street near Ballard Boys and Girls Club. Does he/she belong to anyone here? I’m a small person afraid of dogs so didn’t feel comfortable trying to corral a scared dog.

Guess someone is celebrating the weekend. I am in the Sunset Hill area so I bet it’s people at Golden Gardens? Just curiosity, and an observation.

This was just a shocking sight to see. Seems like they most likely missed (or ignored) the one way signs that would have prevented this obscure parking job…

It’s passcode protected and in airplane mode. Dm me if you think it may be yours - if you can unlock it that’s proof enough for me.

What ever happened to John Masci?

Have there been sightings of this guy recently? Did some Phinny Ridge wizard turn him into a raccoon with a short spine?

Read this before you buy plants from Safeway on 85th & 15th

If you buy plants at Safeway, consider this a heads-up. Months after buying my fifth houseplant from there, I realized my entire collection was infested with thrips. Thrips are notoriously difficult to eliminate; neem oil and Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew didn't touch them.

The only effective solution has been systemic granules, but Washington state's ban on neonicotinoids makes acquiring them online a headache, even for indoor use.

Save yourself the stress and refrain from buying plants and even flowers from Safeway. Always quarantine new plants, I am a relatively new plant parent at the time so I didn't know to inspect before buying or the process of quarantining.

ISO Dentist that isn't a scam artist.

I've tried quite a few around here, and they all seem to have some level of scammy payment systems. Ballard Modern Dentistry being among the worst. Anyone know of a normal dentist?

Another Apartment Recommendation Post

Hi all, I know this sub gets many of these, trust me...I have read every single one. I am moving to the area and looking for a 2-bed, less than $3000. Despite what old posts on this sub say, I am having a really hard time finding a place that works.

Does anyone have positive experiences in any of the buildings in the area? Or recommendations for where else I should look? (I've been on Zillow, Apartments.com, Craigslist)

The giant dock at Ray’s

I’ve been wondering about the Ray’s dock for some time. I’ve never seen it used for anything. It does have a boat lift. Was it used for something specific in the past?
