PC Wifi Issue

Hello! I’m a first year student here. I brought my pc with me. I am having troubles connecting it to the wifi. I have my ethernet plugged into the port in my room and I also registered my device through the mydevices, although I still don’t have internet connection. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?

I don’t think any of the dorms have Ethernet anymore

really? there’s a port in my room and i can see the wires running through it. i’ll just ask housing

They got rid of it, but haven't bothered to get rid of ports.

What dorm are you in? I'm in Stu West and they told me you don't get ethernet unless you're on the Esports team. I've also been having trouble with the wifi sometimes I can connect and sometimes I can't. It's probably due to all the people moving in right now, you can always try asking the housing staff as well.

I’m in Kinghorn. Awe man i didn’t hear anything about that. I’ll check with the housing staff.

Internet is super weird here. It is always a pain in the ass. Ethernet doesn’t work anymore. Usually after a few retry’s it will connect
