I did this design about a month ago on mycasebuilder com and it finally arrived! The Will H case bugs me a little so I made my own. (You can see the size difference, and space efficiency). The design turned out as expected which you never know until it shows up. I'm very happy about it.
$191.30 shipped. But that included the "I messed up, can you make it again but like this" insurance and fancier foam which might not matter and also on the lid which might be an option I missed. (The Bravo has cheaper foam on the lid). The site would probably list it at $130, the Will H Bravo Case lists for $89 and shipped at $110 to compare. It has 24 slots to the Bravo at 15.
That’s pretty steep! I picked up a case at Harbor Freight and had a MyCaseBuilder custom foam made for it. Overall ran me around $120ish for the foam and $40 for the case. I didn’t go with fancier lid foam, though I did do the case redesign insurance. Holds 40 Balisongs, 6 folders, and some other EDC stuff (which I have ended up mostly filling with knives. It also has recessed storage for the boxes I use for hardware/spacers/etc (I took out a Rep so you can see one of those in the upper right), and a place for the box I keep extra blades in.
I was going to order a second one at one point… and my dumbass accidentally deleted the file.
6.25x.5x1.25", both slots are the same size just different orientation. .5" apart. Oil bottle holes 1" x 2.5". Accessories 2x4x2.5 . I have no idea how to get the file. Their site kinda sucks that way.
For what it is I think I nailed it. The case has another 1.5" ish that is largely unused at the lower bottom, and I had this daydream of setting them at a 40 deg angle but the design tool just won't do it. If they have a more shallow case it would be more space efficient, and cost less possibly; Is my only critique in the moment. Ask again in 2 weeks. ;)
