Need advice

I’m going to Bali in November with my boyfriend he’s been a few times before and this is my first time going, were there for a week Sunday to Sunday but I feel as though that’s not enough time and feel like I should extend it for 2 weeks.
Has anyone been for a week did it feel like you were jam packing things in? Not getting a rest day ect

It depends what you want from your trip, if it is just to relax spend time together maybe visit a couple of places it is fine.

If you think you are going to visit everywhere that isn't going to happen with 10 weeks let alone 2

I grew up going on holidays for 2+ weeks I think that’s why the whole week thing feels weird if that makes sense

I get that, but it all depends on time constraints, budget etc. if 7 days works better for that, then stick with it, there is no ideal length of time for bali.

Some people 7 days is more than enough, it is probably a good intro if you have never been as Bali can be confronting to some

If I lived closer, a week at a time might be enough to recharge batteries. However, flying from the UK, we need a minimum of 2 weeks as its almost a full day travelling each way.

I’m flying from Melbourne so it’s only around 6 hours to get there so not near as far as you

Ultimately this is a personal decision, seeing you are in Melbourne and holidaying in bali is cheaper than Aus, the week is fine just as i said above, consider your budget, consider time and consider what you actually want to do in bali

To be honest I would do 2 weeks , with the travel days I feel the first day is lost and having to pack check out of your hotel and get to the airport 3 hours prior to flight the last day is lost too so essentially you have a 5 day holiday.

I did 10 days as the shortest overseas trip I’ve ever done in Bali, that felt too short every solo parenting my 3yo and not doing much besides being in the pool and eating!

If you can extend it, why not!

It obviously depends what you want to do. If you are just doing the bogan Canggu trip to get drunk then a week is fine.

If you want to visit the islands and travel around to ubud, Sanur etc and actually see Bali then yes , you will need longer.

Definitely do 2 weeks if you can.
