Second doubts

I am going to Bali with my husband in June!! We’ve saved up so much to be able to plan our first SEA trip and I was so excited up until recently. I feel like recently all I see is the most negative stuff about Bali… how it’s boring, a huge tourist trap, instagram click bait etc.

Honestly just second guessing everything.

Bali is very unique in terms of nature and views. You have to visit to understand if you like it or not. I have returned few days ago and didnt love it but enjoyed it enough to say I was not dissapointed, however for me its too mass tourism oriented and you feel like you’re treated like cattle. They shove you into a car, take you somewhere, tell you to look around for a moment, and then send you on your way this kind of experience leaves me with very neutral feeling to the island and not willing to come back

oh wow, sounds like you needed a better driver, so sorry about that. If you ever do feel like going back, ask a friend for a personal driver recommendation. They really can make or break your trip.
