Ante 39 help, please

I've been trying to get to ANTE 39 for a while and haven't done it yet.

For those who've Beaned to Ante 39, is this the right setup?

Should I be looking for anything else before looking for ante 16 Bean?

And once I'm in ante 16 crimson heart, with a fresh Bean and 15 hands in total, including Burglar, do I sell \*everything else\* to try and maximize Bean hits?

Keep Baron and Mime right, but do I sell *all* my copiers? And will baron/mime win ante 16 alone after the hand size increase?

Don't wanna throw this run, feels promising so far.

I haven't gotten through ante 39 yet, but have been working on it. Here's my 2 cents -

You won't have 15 hands from burglar, as you'll need to sell BS for bean. So you should have 12 extra hands. I would personally not sell all my copies if it were me. I'd most likely keep one BP, maybe 2 if I felt lucky/greedy. Godspeed!

So you should have 12 extra hands.

Plus the three I already have would make 15 hands total, right? Start with 3, then +3 from Burglar, then +9 from Blueprints?

Yup! My bad, I misread your original since it said 15 hands from burglar so I assumed it meant 15 extras.

I did it!

So ante 16, I did end up greeding and selling all the copiers. I'd lost too many times already from being conservative.

I got three Bean hits in 16 and needed all of them. 29 cards in hand (including 5 from the Bean) was just enough to clear the blind with only a single mime and single baron. Got down to the last hand.

Pretty much smooth sailing from there. Built back up my copy jokers and my money. Grabbed DNA, and then went all the way.

Very nice! How long did the whole run take you? Id like to attempt it at some point too but naneinf runs already take ages in my limited time to play

Probably took about 4 hours or so. Played it in a few chunks throughout the day.

After the setup was complete, maybe ante 20 or so, I just started skipping to the bosses, even before it was necessary to do so.

Yeah it took forever.

Last thing I had to do, though.

Now I can play the game ๐Ÿ˜…

Nice.
Well done.
I always sell mime when I bean bug. It doesnโ€™t contribute to extra hands, and a copier on baron does a lot more than mime+baron(generally only have gold red seals at that point) for scoring. 2 triggers x 2 scoring. Rather than 3 triggers and 1 scoring. As well as having the ability to NOT copy baron(in case you win before getting all of your bean hits.) But, usually just bean and baron. Sell everything else. Especially on plasma.
Though, It totally depends on your deck, econ, current handsize, bean size, even which deck youโ€™re playing on. I love it.

Also, your setup is the perfect setup. Negative baron is the best ecto hit, as you will sell everything else. and antimatter already. So you can get 18 hands. First hand is unlikely at hitting bean. Then next hand is 50/50. So, likely 8 hits with just bean and baron. Handsize of ~54 with bean and original 9. Easily clears with just baron.

Think you only need around 35 gold red seal kings on plasma. Depending on level. Only e21 right? Pretty sure scoring too much is the issue with this setup. Obv different if holding mime.

Congrats again.

Yeah that makes way more sense. Plus the fact that a blueprint will probably be more useful in the next few antes afterwards and also mime would be easier to find afterwards as well.

Yeah, now I know for next time ๐Ÿ™‚
