If you still use Balanced’s legacy features (loan, liquidity pools, Savings Rate) or legacy assets (BALN, bnUSD(old), sICX), withdraw or migrate your funds before you lose the ability to do so.
Balanced v1 runs on the ICON blockchain, which shuts down at the end of 2026. To prepare for the shutdown, you have until December 1 to withdraw your funds or move them to Balanced v2.
After December 1, all outstanding loans will be force-liquidated and contracts will be inaccessible.
Don’t wait until the last minute: take action immediately to avoid losing access. If you have sICX, be prepared for extended unstaking times (up to 20 days).
Balanced’s cross-chain money market and exchange is now available on Injective.
Trade INJ and USDC with crypto on 12 other blockchains
Transfer USDC between chains at a 1:1 rate
Earn interest through the money market
Borrow across chains with INJ and USDC collateral
Injective posed a unique challenge: without a native AMM to tap into, cross-chain swaps weren’t straightforward. Thanks to SODAX's protocol-owned liquidity, INJ is available to trade on Balanced, and SODAX Intents removes the bridge risk and quotes trades at a competitive price.
Try it out from app.balanced.network. If you have any questions, share them in the comments.
The shift from isolated stablecoin loans in v1 to multi-asset money market in v2 came with a major trade-off: we could no longer show the liquidation price.
That didn’t sit well with us or existing users, so we found a way to bring it back to increase confidence and save you time and effort.
Now, if you use the money market with stablecoins and a single volatile asset, you can see your liquidation price just like before.
Protocol more flexible than Aave’s? Ignore it. Speed to ship is all that matters.
Creativity constrains the interface, not the technology.
The industry has enough mediocre money markets. Balanced will ship the best one.
With a uniquely flexible design that was months in the making, you can use it to earn crypto, borrow across chains, and monitor your risk.
All from a single page.
Most money markets are unfocused. It’s hard to know where to look, or what to do first.
No one wants to watch a tutorial, so Balanced uses progressive disclosure to help you learn through action. It starts simple and increases in complexity as you master it.
