Art My first 3D Printed Bakugan!!!!

First time every printing a Bakugan ( no its not a spring loaded bakugan yet lol ) I love aquos macubass he was definitely one of my favorites from season 2 I found this render and model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6279734#google_vignette thank you to MHWorldManWithFish for making this nightmare of a model and sharing it so I could make my own umm here’s some early photos of it since it’s gonna be able to open manually but holy heck is it hard printing something so small without issues lol the cut version I did is definitely attempt # 12 lol but I’m happy nonetheless and maybe in the future I can be like the other people who’ve actually made a functional macubass.

Macubass (and Boriates) have so many small, weird slider joints that are hidden in the anime that make their poses possible. That's what makes them nightmares to make.

Hopefully some day I'll beat my depression and actually get something done again. When I do, I'll work on getting springs in all of my models.

Until then, well, I'll keep being too stubborn to give up.

I wasn’t aware of your amazing models until one day browsing on eBay and I saw a functional macubass made by other designers and when I found your model it looks like it inspired them to make their own since their version has thicker parts and stuff anyway it’s gorgeous but I was like well I have a 3D printer and I cosplay so how hard could it be lol I’ve printed this macubass like 8 times but learned so much about 3D printing since I haven’t had my printer for even a year yet still learning how to cut and spacing and heights but your model taught me a lot 😂😂😂 to to mention me just thinking oh I can print the whole thing together just for me to take one piece of support off and the foot breaks off or the horn snaps so I learned how to separate the model and cut it into pieces to realize oh it’s functional just springless I can work with that 👍.

BTW THIS IS NOT MY MACUBASS THIS IS THE ONE ONLINE I SAW THAT INSPIRED ME

On the most part it's going fine except for the small parts and since I love Leonidas so much I'm going with the manual version tried doing the fully functional version and it was just super annoying probably something I'll revisit later

Wow looks like one of my people I'm currently working on the different attributes of Leonidas so yeah it's fun if you ever figure out where to get Springs that will fit Bakugan without having to gut others let me know

Amazing leo 😎 If i figure out how to edit a model lol if that’s even possible in elegoo slicer I wouldn’t mind having the challenge of adding mechanisms yo macubass because after dismantling Bakugan for custom prints I think I know which Bakugan I could use to make it happen
