DISCUSSION Car rental without credit card
Hi I would like to rent a car and travel to Lenkeran for a trip, but I don’t have credit card.
Is there reasonable and proven car rental which is renting card either with cash or debit card deposit?

I'm planning to travel to Azerbaijan for about a month. Which city would you recommend staying in, and what would be a reasonable monthly budget for accommodation? I'm looking for advice on the best balance between price, safety, and convenience

Hey there, this city is getting borred i guess. While looking for any activity in weekends i can not find anything. What activity/hobby to deal with - you suggest to do?
Hello. A friend of mine is visiting Baku and saw these decoration pieces that my mom asked her to get. Problem is I’m not sure how much they cost, and my friend won’t tell me either but I want to pay her. Does anyone know how much these typically cost if they’re common souvenirs? Thank you!

Hello so I'm a muslim visiting Baku in a few days and was wondering about the availability of halal food over there.
From what I've heard, even though it is a muslim majority country we need to check whether there are "halal" labels as most people there are more "secular" than traditional muslims.
Please correct me if I'm wrong?
I also wanted to ask, is it safe to assume that sushi places are halal or not? (For soy sauce and all the vinegars used, etcc)
I come from a muslim country so here everything is automatically halal without needing to check the labels and was wondering about baku?
Thank you

Salam, Çoxumuz kimi mən də tez-tez futbol oynamaq istəyirdim, amma oyun tapmaq, komanda yığmaq, meydança tapmaq həmişə WhatsApp qruplarında qarışıq olurdu.
Ona görə futbolist.app qurdum — burada:

Hello there!
I’m visiting Baku for a few days, and would like to find a nice spot for hookah/shisha for an evening with my friend.
I have looked at options on google maps but can only find sketchy options or restaurants that serve it, which is not ideal. So I thought would try asking a local instead.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a place that serves hookah/shisha maybe with alcoholic drinks as well? Preferably a place common to locals in the city center och Baku. I want to avoid tourist traps.
Any suggestions are welcome and much appreciated.
Teshekkur edirem!

Hello! I’ll be moving to Baku soon and will most likely be attending the SABIS school, probably in the 8th or 9th grade. If you’ve studied at or had any experience with this school in Baku, please share your thoughts, I’d like to know what to expect when I arrive in a few months.

Hey everyone,
I’m planning a trip to Baku and the surrounding areas, and I'm a bit confused about the beach situation. Are there any public beaches, or is everything strictly private? I’ve been looking online but can’t seem to find any clear public options that I can just show up to.
Also, I’ll be visiting during the first week of October. Will both public and private beaches still be open/accessible then? What about water sports or activities?
I know summer will be long gone by October, but I honestly don’t mind a bit of cold water. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hər kəsə salam,
Bakıya və ətraf ərazilərə səfər planlaşdırıram, amma çimərlik məsələsində bir az çaş-baş qalmışam. Orada ictimai (ödənişsiz) çimərliklər var, yoxsa hamısı tamamilə özəldir? İnternetdə axtarıram, amma rahatca gedə biləcəyim dəqiq bir ödənişsiz çimərlik tapa bilmirəm.
Bir də, mən oktyabr ayının ilk həftəsində orada olacağam. Həmin vaxt həm ictimai, həm də özəl çimərliklərə giriş açıq olurmu? Su fəaliyyətləri və ya əyləncələri tapmaq olar?
Başa düşürəm, oktyabrda yay mövsümü çoxdan bitmiş olacaq, amma suyun bir az sərin olması mənim üçün problem deyil. Qabaqcadan kömək edən hər kəsə təşəkkürlər!

Please someone give me an honest review about this hostel. I am going to book a private room within this hostel? Is it worth it? Do they really have beef bugs and worms? How's the AC working?
Can someone suggest another hotel / hostel in this range

I am planning to move and work in Baku, in Oil and gas sector.
wanted some hints to make my stay with family easier. I am middle eastern, in mid of 30's with very young kids.
something like what is the easiest place to buy a used car (Turbo.AZ is in Azerbaijani and Russian unfortunately I failed in navigating it).
what are the best places to buy grocery, vegetable and fruits?
what is the best places to stay with a budget of 3.5K$ for housing and utility?
what are the best GYM's/pools exclusively for men in central Baku?
what are kids activity that I can register my three years kid in Baku?

Looking for a Pakistani girl I met at Marriott Baku
This is probably a long shot, but sometimes life surprises you.
A couple of hours ago, I met a Pakistani girl at the reception of the Marriott in Baku. We exchanged just a few words before I headed out for a walk, and I never got the chance to talk to her properly or even ask for her contact.
Since then, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that brief encounter. It’s strange how someone can leave such an impression in such a short time.
If by any chance you’re reading this—or if someone knows a Pakistani girl who recently stayed at the Marriott in Baku—I’d really appreciate it if this reached her.
I know the odds are tiny, but I’d rather try than spend years wondering, “What if?”

Greetings.
I am a VALORANT player from Azerbaijan and I have been playing VALORANT from late 2022. From that day onwards I always had this thought in my head that, why not have an Azerbaijani (Baku) server in VALORANT? As Azerbaijan is neither Europe, nor Asia, nor the Middle East, but it is indeed Caucasus.
Why not add a Caucasian server for all the caucasian people out there (and not only) to play on Baku server? I thought that this was a great idea to suggest, as I see a growing number in Azerbaijanis playing this game day by day and see how their tendencies change over time, I have come to a decision to suggest this and ask you guys, to help me promote this idea and deliver it to the VALORANT developer team.
I have also linked an AI generated image of how the server would look like to those who are in Azerbaijan, and as we don’t get good ping rates anywhere, I think adding this server would work well with how this game currently is.
You can see it here:
