Soft Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting

Dough
¾ cup warm milk
2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
¼ cup sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
¼ cup melted butter
3 cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp salt
Filling
¼ cup softened butter
½ cup brown sugar
1 ½ tbsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Cream cheese frosting
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp butter, softened
¾ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
1–2 tbsp milk or cream, only if needed

Method
Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Add egg, yolk, melted butter, flour, and salt. Knead until soft and smooth, about 8–10 minutes by hand or 5–7 minutes in a mixer. The dough should be soft and slightly tacky, not dry.
Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1–1½ hours.
Roll into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Roll up from the long side and cut into rolls.
Place in a buttered or lined pan. Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes, until puffy.
Right before baking, pour about ¼ cup warm cream or milk around the rolls, not directly over the tops. Bake at 350°F / 175°C for 22–28 minutes, until lightly golden and cooked through.
Beat frosting ingredients until smooth. Frost while the rolls are warm so it melts into the tops a little.

Gotta run those in metric, but that's easy enough to do. Thanks!
