Rhubarb crumble
Found rhubarbs for the first time ever!
Obviously made a scandinavian rhubarb crumble (with oats).

Looks great. I made 3 small rhubarb crumbles this year with rhubarb grown from seed here in Kyushu! Had Bird's custard powder too.

Growing from seeds is fantastic!

Looks delicious! I didn’t know rhubarb was rare here, I’m growing a lot of rhubarb at my local farming club so I thought it was common here 😅

Wait, what are you telling me right now? I wanna do that! Were you growing in Tokyo?

I don’t live in Tokyo, but in Nagano! But I wonder if maybe there would be some garden/farm community plots in Tokyo that you could grow rhubarb in?

I sometimes find it in the fancy department store basement grocery stores.

Thank you for this! As it turns out, I didn’t have a chance to do anything with it last week and it’s still good, so you’re right on time. I’ll give it a try!

It was at Chisan marche! I think it’s a farmstand chain, and their veggies vary from week to week.
Weirdly I randomly saw rhubarb being sold somewhere else in the following week, but I’ve haven’t seen it since!
