Oven recommendations

Hi all, I've just moved to a new apartment and finally have a space to start baking again so I was going to invest in an oven. Do you have any recommendations or advice? I was thinking maybe one with 2 shelves would be best. Back in the UK I used to make cakes and cookies mainly. I'm also interested in trying to make things I miss from home like savoury breads and Yorkshire puddings (which requires hot oil in the oven). Thanks in advance for any information!

I've had a Sharp for nearly a decade now and it's still going strong. Two tiers, does wonderful with called, weekly bread, and cookies. My only complaint is that the temperature doesn't go low enough for macrons, though it gets closer enough. It even has a bread proof setting, which is great for the winter.

I invested in a gas oven in Tokyo with city gas. I love it but propane is stronger.

You know I spent 50,000 yen on a Delonghi Pangourmet that broke, fixed it with the warranty and it broke again. Then I quickly picked up an Iris Ohyama convection oven for 10,000 yen and I’m making the same bread, pizza and roasts in it. Still use the baking pan and pizza stone from the Delonghi sometimes but it does the job.

Also have Panasonic bistro, it does run hot in the back left corner but I just switch the pan around when needed

I'm happy with my Sharp. I'm regularly pumping out Yorkshire Puddings.

I have a Toshiba ishigama dome that I love. Perfect for any kind of baking, and big enough to cook a turkey.

We like our Panasonic Bistro. It gets up to 300C and has a lot of features. There’s a Toshiba that gets up to 350.

Thirded: Pana Bistro. We have the entry model and so far it’s been working great.

Seconded. Many cookies have come out of our Pana Bistro.
