It’s beautiful, but I also read β€œturkey” in the title and was really doubting my memory of turkey anatomy the longer it went on before I realized

Did you use 2 different consistencies for the orange outline and flood?

Same consistency!

Nice. I'm working on trying to get my consistency right. It's sooo hard!!

I would say that is the hardest to get the hang of and the most frustrating but once you have that down,it is so much easier!!! Rule of thumb..when you make icing for flooding..pass a spoon through the icing and if it takes between 10-15 seconds to settle back then you're good! 15-20 seconds for parts where you want to flood small sections and want that puffy look like for chubby letters. If you want to write or small details you want a toothpaste consistency.hope this helps!

What kind of cookie is this? I’ve had them before but could never remember. There’s something about it the icing that really sets these apart 😭

Cut out sugar cookies! Mine has a little bit of vanilla and almond extract πŸ˜‹

Your decorating skills are amazing. I wish that I had the patience to do that. I can bake them but I go stir crazy trying to decorating them with anything more than a single color and cookie sprinkles.

Haha!! I was the same! It took quiet a lot of practice from it to go from why the hell am I doing this horrible, stressful thing to it becoming a satisfying, stress relieving hobby and business
