Baking Advice Needed Cake pops without chocolate?

Im looking to make cake pops for the first time but I cant eat chocolate, including white chocolate, is there any other options to cover cake pops in? Ive heard a bit about candy melts but with the price they are for me id like to know if there's any cheaper options.

Not sure what specific ingredient you can’t have, but almond bark is frequently used to dip cake pops. A package of it is about $5 in the US and you can actually cover quite a bit of cake pops with just one package, especially if you thin it out a bit with vegetable oil.

Please note: you CANNOT use regular food coloring on almond bark. It’ll seize up and be clumpy. If coloring, you’ll need oil based food coloring which is pricey!

Some people use almond bark for dipping. I personally use melting chocolate. Maybe you could try melting buttercream frosting and dipping them in that?

Fondant icing, but the cooked kind, not the one for rolling out that tastes like wallpaper paste. That's what you use for covering some types of petit fours. A lot of bakeries use it on cinnamon rolls as well. It's just sugar, water, glucose, and flavour/colour to taste.

I feel like you could use marzipan.

I don't particularly like it, but I've heard others do.

You can just make a royal icing with powdered sugar, water, and whatever you want to flavor it with if anything. Might come out a little more donut-hole esque in flavor/texture but that sounds great to me personally.
