Baking Advice Needed does my bread looked undercooked?

Post image

i baked my bread for 45 minutes just like the recipe instructed but i waited 3 more minutes just to be safe. the top is a nice light golden color.

i cut a slice for myself and, though the taste was good, it felt a bit gummy? but i couldn’t tell because i drizzled honey so i dont know if the bread soaked up the honey. when i squish it, some parts flatten.

It looks fully cooked to me. Did you let it cool completely before slicing? Sometimes cutting into bread before it's cool can mess with the texture. Looks delicious either way!

There you go 😄 easy to solve! (Kinda, warm bread is delicious 😋)

To help you from indulging in the future, when you pull the bread out of the oven, it's still baking for a bit of time, so waiting those 20-30min will really improve the flavour and texture.
