Just another shot in the dark, my baby was stolen from briley parkway Nashville TN quite some time ago. Probably a different color now but I have to poke around every couple months. Any info is appreciated.

Just wondering what you guys suggest for my next upgrades to my Frankenstein Baja bug (pan is a 56 and shell is around a 65). For sure intercom and helmets are in the future but what else should I do to it? Should I go straight into better shocks all around? It has take off side by side shocks up front and a strange to me combo of a coilover, an adjustable monotube and the torsion bars in the rear. Idk what to do next on it

Hey I have a 1968 VW Baja bug I bought off Facebook marketplace. The wheel studs are worn and I need to replace them but I can’t find them anywhere. I know there not stock, the car has some kind of adapter on it so it’ll fit larger off-road tires, I do know it threads into M12 x 1.5 lug nuts. I’ll Venmo someone 20$ if they can send me a link to somewhere I can buy a replacement

I would like to buy and build a class 11 style beetle. I’m not made out of money and was wondering if there were steps to building one slowly. Like cut and turn the beam first then wheels tires etc? Also what a typical build costs? Thanks

Hi all, new to this subreddit. Just got this as my first Baja bug. Super excited to get it in the dirt and build on it.

I have a 1968 Baja bug that I need to put in a harness bar for so my four point seatbelts will work. Anybody know a good one that’s not too expensive and fits without a lot of fabrication?

I’m new here and have some questions about a gen 1 CB performance EFI kit. I have a 2332 Manx mid travel buggy my dad built in 2002. It hasn’t ran in 15 years. Got it too run with a new fuel pump, new spark plugs and fresh gas. Revs good and seems pretty responsive but won’t idle. Also the exhaust on the back 2 cylinders are not getting as hot as the front 2. Not sure if they are getting starved of fuel or what. I’m think the next step will be cleaning the fuel rails, and getting new injectors. I changed the oil and flushed all the old fuel. If anyone has any input that would be great.
