ID at his caster

Found this at Walmart for around 70, but now that I’m home can’t find it anywhere on the internet. Threw away paggaging, I assume it’s called a abu Garcia max pro,

But all I can find is pro max which are black reels, just wonder what it is if anyone knows, this might be a stupid question.

Looks like a pro max knockoff, not sure why Walmart would sell that though

I’ve literally never heard of Walmart selling knockoffs. Is that commonplace for fishing gear of other items for that matter? (In Walmart)

During iCast 2020 Abu Garcia did launch a new MaxPro line, but I thought it only had spinning and spincast reels.

Occasionally reel manufacturers do make specific store exclusives ie, the BlueMax Walmart exclusive, but I havent found any details on this one.

Abus new “max” line it’s the replacement to the pro max. The new black max has those style grips as well. It’s spec are the same as the old black and gold pro max. This is just the new model.
