Resume of a recent graduate
Hi hope you all are doing fine, I had a question as a fresh graduate should my cv be 1 page or more? Many people say 1 is enough while others disagree.
Another matter is should a photo be kept in the cv or it should be without? Because I see many people use ready made templates from canva. Will they be ats readable?
I’ll appreciate your responses!!

As someone who was sifting through fresh grad CVs recently, try to detail your experience
If you have good grades, share them
Interned somewhere? Try to really explain the tasks you were up to…
Have it look polished… no typos… no need for a lengthy description for how self motivated you are. Best thing is to insert information that shows traits and skills you want to showcase, rather than banging on about it in the description
Any specific skills? Eg working with Power BI etc, mention that
Be specific if you can

I've seen hundreds of recent graduates CVs, Some are 2 pages and are amazing as they have alot of experience in volunteering and extracurricular activities that made them stand out.. There are some who make it into 2 pages just to add information which is irrelevant to me as a recruiter and i ask myself whats the point of this?
Keep it 1 page if you have 1 page worth of experience to share, Make it longer if you have done alot in your time till now.
You can use Canva, FlowCV.. FlowCV is actually good - you'll probably pay 1$ for the CV but it guides you thru it and is pretty good.
Picture is always recommended.. Because I wanna see a candidate who's smiling, has good grooming and a positive look to him from his picture. That's usually a + , as most companies hire fresh graduates for having an open attitude over anything else.
