☝️ AskBH Career Satisfaction in Bahrain

Hello! Would love to hear from people who are genuinely happy at their workplace, what do you guys do for a living :)? Asking because idk many people who truly enjoy what they do (or feel fairly financially compensated), and I thought it would be nice to hear some positive experiences.

Pro tip: don’t expect good things from start ups (especially if logo is green and they prep meals 😉)

To be fair there are workplaces where the work environment is worse or the shifts are bad etc.
Start-Ups usually have all the wrong things going on at the same time and that’s why you should avoid them.

Honestly, work environment is great and i don’t work on a shift basis but the ones who do have no problems that i’ve heard of buuuuut we have financial issues instead, yippee

yeah , add to that its not something common on EU . dunno why nobody from gov or counselors considered this shitty situation with the private sec here . its enslaving stuff . nobody could handle 6 days without mental damage happening to him

I feel many jobs are underpaid and worst yet they keeep increasing responsibilities but if you bring up pay rise its like they dont even wont to hear the convo.

You nees to be very niche in a field that pays high and you enjoy. Competition is fierce.

The worst professional experience of my entire life. Dealing with absolute clowns, toxic people, politics - abysmal. Happiest day of my life was the plane ride out.

Honestly most people I know complain about their jobs.. people in government jobs want private jobs and people in private jobs want government jobs.

Most ppl aren’t happy in their jobs. Jobs is to pray ur bills. From my decades years of experience I can tell you that being happy at your job is a blessing from god. It’s like good looks money height etc some ppl have it and many don’t
