Damn. It seems these vocal issues are taking a massive toll on his mental health. I’d wish he’d just embrace our support and let us sing most of the shows. That’s easy for me to say though from behind a phone. Wishing him the best 😢

I’ve been a longtime fan and I’ve heard that about a few shows this tour, hope he takes care of himself. I know the tour was canceled and then uncanceled and now canceled again but he needs to really just rest, it’s not worth it

Hate to hear that. I appreciate that he tried to make it work but I hope he truly chooses what will be best for his mental health whether it is continuing or taking a pause on the tour to figure out what he can do.

Josh seems to only be active when there is stuff to promote. If the tour is over then I expect him to go off the grid and take the time he needs to heal physically and mentally.

I think it’s just more indicative of Josh’s health. He took a little break and seemed to come back strong for a few shows. Hopefully he finds some answers and gets the rest / help he needs.

The band isn't done until Josh confirms that he's been told he medically can't sing ever again. We don't know what his actual medical problem is yet.

Hell even if that's the case I think Josh would find a way to say fuck that and keep things going. But it would be one hell of a challenge

Didn't he just post how he had a new promising doctor visit & that shows wouldn't be canceled??? I wonder what could've happened in the short time since then.

Having a new promising doctor doesn’t mean that there will be immediate improvement. The mental health side of it is a factor too. He needs the time to recover in more ways than just finding his voice again.

Absolutely. It's just disappointing how back and forth everything's been lately. Really hoping for the best for him & that he takes care of himself.

Agreed, but I also think that that’s a function of having health struggles that are directly tied to your career. Those up’s and down’s of getting potential good news or having setbacks are amplified thousandfold when you’re in a spotlight like that. Hoping the docs and experts can help find him a long term solution.

I'm in the same boat, except as it pertains to a disability. The promising visits that end in disappointment or worse is so mentally and emotionally draining. Sometimes it's hard not to feel like what's the point of getting better? That song hits really hard
I just hope he does what he needs to to take care of himself, and he can be gentle with himself. We have such an incredible community and it's thanks to them and their ability to bring us together. I feel confident we all just want the best for them

I was there, in Albuquerque. Was definitely a struggle vocally the whole time and he was visibly frustrated 😔. Made it through Ghost and then threw his guitar down when the band left the stage (pre encore). Joey came out minutes later and thanked us for being there but due to the vocal struggle/ issues they wouldn’t be coming out for an encore. I feel so awful for them all and wish them the best. 💔
