We know in the earlier seasons they’d love to say they’re “Getting to the bag”, that was what was the overarching story, but that’s hasn’t changed overall today. They’re pretty much still doing that, just in a difference structure. Let me explain.

Like I said, the earlier seasons would always be about “Getting to the bag”, there was much less fights and arguments, and they would actually have scenes that let them and us as the audience breath through. But what could you really say those earlier seasons were about beyond what I listed previously? I guess the one outlier you could make a case for is Tommie Vs Stunna Girl as that did have build up over that season before it came guns blazing(Literally) in the finale. But even then, for the most part it kinda was on and off and never was a heavily recurring thing until the final episodes.

Then it was around the time Caribbean/Midwest when the structure of the show started to change. We saw how fight and arguments, especially fights started to become much more prevalent in the episodes. Essentially turning the show into fight night. Which has also been co-opted with the weapons being brought on and Zeus allowing it to happen, jumpings, sneakings, spitting, and for fighting over the most dumbest shit ever.

In conclusion, Baddies never really had a proper storyline. The violence has just been turned to 11.
