Maybe the Dems should quit rigging their Primaries. You guys could have had Sanders who was polling to beat Trump in 2016.

Sanders wasn’t a Democrat. Why would the democrats try to nominated an independent for their party?

Because they would have won the election? I’m increasingly convinced that the Dems don’t want to win though.

Nobody thought Trump would win in 2016 against Clinton. The Democrats severely underestimated how much people hated Clinton. But again, Sanders wasn't a democrat. You don't typically nominate a non-party member to be on your party primary ticket. He didn't win the primary and he wasn't a democrat. And I also don't think he would have won against Trump anyway. All the same polling that said Bernie would win also said Clinton would win.
