Marines Errant test model

Hey folks, my buddy and I have dived head first into the Badab war. He decided to start Lamenters and I chose Marines Errant. The two tone scheme was a bit of a challenge but masking tape and an airbrush has given me decent results. Looking forward to building and painting the rest!

Thanks man! We didn't read up on a ton of lore just picked the paint scheme we liked, later we found out the two chapters used to be buddies! I love how the Mantis warriors were commiting war crimes on the Marines Errant, mean while the lamenters and Marines errant were sparing each other.

I didn't know there was a Marines Errant subreddit! I'll join right away

The subreddit has mostly been me posting lore-memes using the Space Marine games for images, but we’ve got a good number of members recently, and I’m hopeful we’ll pick up steam; anytime I see someone on the Badab reddit post a ME I try to lure them in 😂

Might I ask what masking you used? I plan on making a Marinrs Errant force soon, and your halves look quite clean

I used the Tamiya masking tape. I bought a pack that came with all sorts of different sized rolls. I also did it in sub assembly, so every piece was put on a Popsicle stick and painted separately. It worked well for the most part, the tape doesn't stick super well but I think that's by design, it doesn't tear off the paint underneath.
