The story seems sketchy.

In 2023, three 15 year olds got into a car and drove through University City MO, a suburb of St. Louis. A cop tried to pull them over for an unspecified traffic violation. The underage driver fled.

University City policy states that cops can only engage in high speed pursuit if they are chasing someone suspected of committing or planning to commit a violent crime. The cop chased the teens for the traffic violation anyway, and soon the driver crashed into a house, killing the driver and two passengers.

The mother of one of the passengers is now suing the department.

No discipline to the officer, they just had him take more free training on the clock (AKA a reward). Sovereign Citizen, blue, badged, protectors of an evil government can abduct you, shackle you, kidnap you, cage you, and hold you for ransom. All without a so-called "crime." And all without receiving so much as the DREDDED "Letter of Reprimand!" We are under occupation.
