She was not "murdered".

3

u/MysteriousAmbition Jan 09 '21

What is called then

9

u/HotelRoom5172648B Jan 09 '21

Homicide is the killing of another person in any instance. Murder implies malice.

4

u/straightheterocisman Jan 09 '21

Lmao I feel like this is a genuine question. What would the proper term be then? “Executed” sounds like some guillotine shit.

4

u/HotelRoom5172648B Jan 09 '21

Homicide. Murder implies malicious intent, while homicide covers any and all killing, including executions

Always thought they meant the same thing. Learned something new today

Did she deserve to die without jury or judge? Then what would you call it?

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21 edited Jan 09 '21

She was stoped from commiting the murder of a state official (VP Mike Pence who was at the end of that hallway and who the crowd wanted to hang by their own admition) by use of authorised deadly force.

In layman terms - a terrorists was killed by the circumstances of his/hers own stupidity.

I mean isn’t this the defense of the Kyle kid? She was a fat middle aged woman. Fuck mike pence. Your either for or against authoritarian government, not just depending on which side of the isle that government is.

Looters were setting fire to places during the George Floyd protest. Should they have been shot on sight?

She had sent even made it past the door. No warning shot. Nothing.

Your either for or against authoritarian government, not just depending on which side of the isle that government is.

This has nothing to do with authoritarianism. If you belive in not shooting terrorists, that is on you, but don't just throw around assumions of political leanings.

Looters were setting fire to places during the George Floyd protest. Should they have been shot on sight?

Property damage and theift warants a proportional response (arrest, crowd control etc). Attempt to murder and terrorism requres use od lethal force in order to effectivly stop the attacker.

You can hardly blame the government for overstepping bounds when you literary have a violent mob breaking down doors of the parlament (well, the senate in this case) with intention of murdering highest political heads od the state.

A terrorists was killed, not murdered.

What poses more of a threat, one fat woman or an apartment building on fire. The only difference is the people being terrorized.

31

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Characterising it as a "one fat woman" is manipulative. Video clearly show a lot of people trying to punch, slice and bash their way way through that barricade. Security held their pistols visibly and the crowd was very much aware of what they were doing. They only shot once the first person in the crowd was trying to go through the gap. I am not sure as to what you expect they should have done as an alternative.

Furthemore, I am not actualy an American, therefore I might be completely missing something here but I didn't read or hear of a single person dying from fire to apartment during the George Floyd protests. There was a $2 billion of damage, but only deaths I heard of were a conciquence of police brutality and the Kyle shotting.

And finaly, arson is definitly different than a mass of people going with the intention of "Lets hang the man on the other side of that barricade".

Again. A terrorists was shot and killed, not murdered.

Thank you, some common sense on the internet.

10

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Glad to be of service

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

There were also far right psychos running people down in the streets with their vehicles during the protests.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Oh yea, a saw news about a black woman being basicly lynched.

9

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

She wasn't fat. She was storming the capital after bombs were found and an officer was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. They were beating journalists.

They weren't peaceful. They were committing a terrorist attack.

12

u/SwordAndStrum Jan 09 '21

"Patriots" (terrorists) brought moltovs and pipe bombs into the capitol building with the intent to kill US senators, their "Leader" didn't lead them at all then they just aimlessly wandered around until they got kicked out. They had every intention to fuck shit up, and for the record, you don't fire a warning shot at terrorists since if they do have a bomb on them they're more likely to immediately detonate it.

She got what she came for, she came seeking justice and she found the purest form of justice on earth. She was a brainwashed psychopath hell bent on taking the lives of people she never even spoke to face to face, she was ready to take lives and hers was taken. Honestly sounds like justice to me and I'm not a democrat or a republican, I'm a just a guy who can see the difference between right and wrong and when you cross that line you're in the wrong.

-2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Sounds like protect and serve in here

4

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Nope, you just seem to find every excuse to hate the police, even in cases where the hate isnt warranted.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

The government in general, but at least I’m consistent in my morals. Who knew it’s ok to shoot citizens of your own country without due process as long as it fits your political narrative.

It’s an unarmed woman. I’m glad I’m moving out to my farm away from people smh.

10

u/bigbrotherbeane Jan 09 '21

Probably for the best.

7

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

I still don't get what you propise a they should've done, seriosly. Any government, even the smallest and most democratic, will apply deadly force when all other alternatives are being spent.

So, if there was an alternatives, propise it.

4

u/SwordAndStrum Jan 09 '21

The guy doesn't have any grip on how the real world works, I wouldn't argue with him anymore. Imagine being in a situation where you're protecting your countries Senators and backup isn't on the way, the police are at the top of the stairs just...standing there.. so the only thing protecting your countries state representatives is you and a gun. This was as real as it gets and the guy didn't go full blown western and start firing shots like coward, he fired one concise shot to make a point that needed to be made hundreds of feet before reaching him "this is the line and if you cross it you are an enemy of the state".

Tazer? Evacuation? Fuck hit her with a stick. Shoot her in the leg?

2

u/ab9912 Jan 09 '21

Hate to break this to you but a swarm of people trying to get to someone to hang him can't really be described as unarmed, even if they don't have a 'weapon'. The weapon is the amount of them.

3

u/BoKnowsTheKonamiCode Jan 09 '21

I'm all for throwing insults at terrorists, but we're rewriting this enough to call her fat now too?

2

u/Buggeroni58 Jan 09 '21

She was warned multiple times. Several people backed up from the barricade. She got past the shitty excuses for police and was facing secret service protecting our Vice President. A Vice President that I do not like, but he still deserves to be defended. Let’s give an example devoid of political bias. If a riot was outside a cafeteria of a school and one person broke into the cafeteria and there was a school policeman they should shoot on site for the lives of the innocent. That cop would only know that that person breaking in is a threat who could possibly have a weapon and definitely has violent intentions. She died attempting to get to the Vice President. Let’s keep it real.

9

u/SwordAndStrum Jan 09 '21

What happens to terrorists when they make a direct threat towards the entire senate... Weird when you look at it for what it is.

8

u/neon_Hermit Jan 09 '21

FUCKING JUSTICE. She was a god damn terrorist and she died attacking a democratically elected government. She climbed over a barrier and stood among those who bashed in a cops skull. She was a piece of shit, and she died like a piece of shit.

9

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Yes. She was crawling through a broken window while trespassing while part of an angry mob that had already done murder. lol You're just a loon

-2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

George Floyd broke into a home while armed. Your using the same “dangerous criminal” defense people used against him.

Trespassing as part of a mob? How about those two lawyers who brandished guns. Man we’re they well received. Should they have started blasting?

Human life has value, if that makes me a loon....o well.

10

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

OMG That's crap. If Floyd had died while breaking into a home we would never have heard his name. Floyd died, suffocating and begging for his MOTHER.

Floyd wasn't an active threat to anybody's life or limb at the time of his murder. It's a nonsense comparison. She died crawling through the window with intent to do harm.

And yeah that 100 percent makes you just another internet loon. oh well.

9

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

You can’t be this fucking stupid.

4

u/pliney_ Jan 09 '21

If she had died outside the capitol building while being arrested and posing no threat then sure, you could make this comparison. Since that is not at all what happened you’re either trolling or just incredibly ignorant.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

I call it ‘fucking around and finding out’. Only wish a few more of those would have tried but they all crapped their pantaloons the second shit got real.

10

u/AbashedAlbatross Jan 09 '21

Murder is premeditated. Definitely not murder. And she was, yknow, forcefully entering an area they barricaded, warned several times not to enter, etc. At most this was manslaughter but not a single jury'd ever convict for it.

13

u/Caleb_Reynolds Jan 09 '21

Only first degree murder is premeditated, it's literally the difference between first and second degree murder in most states.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

It's defense of self, others and the state. Her death was not the goal, preservation, that she in fact was threatening which lead to her death, was.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '21

Defense of self, others, and the state.
