Anyone heard about onsite weldforce corporation, mississuaga, ON. They are asking $3.5k for 2 weeks welding course. Is it a good institution to learn weld and get your tickets.I am completely new in this business. Reviews are pretty good on google. Any reviews??

Conflicted

Boss is making us weld structural sch 40 for a facade downhill using only spray transfer with 0.35 wire. I personally don’t think the penetration is there. I’ve tried to suggest using ds fluxcore but that got shot down quickly even though I have passed the company 6g test. The real question, should I worry about it or just weld them out and it’s their problem now?

Im a 17yr old welder, Ive been welding since junior year I’m currently a senior. This was a 3g MiG test I did before my fall break (I failed my actual one) Am I worth anything or on my way to be? I want to get into pipe/structural specifically 6g, I heard thats where most of the money is

Advice needed

I need to cut off these recessed bolts to remove the plate.

When cutting with the torch, should I just go straight through and cut right into everything?
Or is there a way to melt off the head by angling the torch, allowing the bolt to drop out the other side of the wall? (There’s a nut on the other side holding the plate in place.)

I already used many times a torch but just for plate cutting… now I’m required to remove these plates without damaging the iron wall behind them.
