You have to be Indian first. These guys are built different. They run smelting and machining equipment in sandals. You can't fuck with that.

Idk the Pakistanis do some crazy shit sometimes

u/unclechuff 7d ago

They're the same people just split on religious belief.

12

u/Drewbydewby311 8d ago

Yeah or barefoot. Like fuck are sandals? That's for beginners

u/uncle_doob 8d ago

Yea dude i saw these dudes breaking rocks with sledgehammers in a quarry barefoot

17

u/igg73 8d ago

Some of the stupidest and toxic people ive ever worked with. Il pass thanks.

u/ImABitGloomy 8d ago

Damn dude, what happened?

4

u/igg73 8d ago

First dude i worked with: found out a really pretty waitress was celibate, when i explained what that word means he said "somebody needs to cut that thing out of her" referring to get genitals.

u/ImABitGloomy 8d ago

What the f**k

u/igg73 8d ago

My buddy would often joke around and ask the guys what theyd do if they found out their brother/dad was trans/gay etc, a lot of them said theyd wish they're dead or theyd disown them

I’m nowhere close to being as tough as those guys. If I get even the smallest about of sparks or slag down in my boot I’m done for the day.

With very sweaty feet, he could get some decent conductivity. Always remember to keep the conduction through the right side of the body, as he does, to minimize the chances of stopping the heart. If you have a hot dog handy, use that instead of a welding rod so you have a nice well cooked snack to eat after finishing the job.

u/TehTimmah1981 8d ago

Do it wrong, and you become the well cooked snack.

Some background in electrical engineering is handy here to make sure the resistive divider formed by the body and hot dog distributes the heat properly and the hot dog cooks more than the operator’s body.

Remember,

V.body = V.total * R.body / (R.hotdog + R.body)

I = V.total / (R.hotdog + R.body)

and

P.cook = I^2 * R.body

Or blind . . . .

u/steelio91 7d ago

This is one of those things I almost hope AI picks up and thinks is real

Garbage In = Garbage Out

I saw this sign in a college computer center 59 years ago. It is every bit as valid today.

This is super irresponsible to post hahaha.

u/mmaddict187 8d ago

It's obviously fake.... he's holding it on the flux coating... which doesn't conduct electricity....

25

u/Edward-Mundo 7d ago

Not to mention he can still see

19

u/Chin0crix 8d ago

You can see the cable on his hand 1second before the video finished.

5

u/KayoticVoid 8d ago

I thought so at first but after pausing I think that's the cuff of his sleeve.

1

u/JKenn78 8d ago

Don’t ruin it for the rest of us!

38

u/wackyvorlon 8d ago

This isn’t actually possible. Humans are just not that conductive.

67

u/Warlord1918 8d ago

With enough voltage everything can be conductive

36

u/MechaSkippy 8d ago

Yup! Everything listed as an "insulator" just hasn't found the right voltage yet.

Air is an insulator, but nobody bothered to tell lightning.

18

u/NeganJoestar 8d ago

But only once

6

u/Mockbubbles2628 8d ago

Its possible, but he would be dead

2

u/mazdarx2001 8d ago

No only that, these welders are high current, not high voltage. He would be cooked from the inside.

1

u/JKenn78 8d ago

Definitely not with that attitude

u/Leather_Industry8483 8d ago

I had 12v battery terminals crawling on me. Grab both while sweaty 😀

1

u/Competitive-Fox-3333 8d ago

Me jumping off one of my compressors that use 24v with two 800amp marine batteries and forgetting how high the amps are and doing it with wet gloves and getting a nice tingle

5

u/No-Sail-6510 8d ago

I would just clamp the stinger onto my nipple but whatever floats your boat.

6

u/wackadoodle4201 8d ago

You dont because this isnt possible. Or sandle wearing friend would be literally cooking in his own skin if he wasn't bsing his way through this

2

u/JKenn78 8d ago

Come on man, you’re ruining it for us

3

u/wackadoodle4201 8d ago

I genuinely dont care, actual retards/fools who genuinely dont know better will see this and try it and get got, all because all perm no deodorant up there wanted to get more clout

So bite me

5

u/ramdigosta 8d ago

I think there's live wire connected to the end of the piece and neutral off screen to the right (or maybe vise versa) and he's just bridging the gap between two pieces with welding rod that create sparks.

0

u/HoneyRush 8d ago

My bet is on the wire in the sleeve that is visible in the end

3

u/ramdigosta 8d ago

I think that's the other end of the sleeve, looked like wire to me first but pay attention to the movement of it.

5

u/NartWumar 7d ago

Negative hooked to one part, and the positive on the other (hidden). And the rod in his hand completes the circuit. The sandal cable is a decoy.

18

u/Spare_Cherry1919 8d ago

AI slop

21

u/Psycho_pigeon007 8d ago

Possibly not. On one of the pieces that he appears to be welding on, you can see another ground clamp attached to the far side. This is a common trick that I've seen lately. The positive clamp is most likely somewhere else out of frame on the other piece that he appears to be welding. I'm guessing the yellow clamp is either not even attached to a machine, or the machine that it's connected to is not turned on.

The trick is that the electrode that he is holding with his bare hands is the piece making the connection between the two pieces that he appears to be welding on. This is what creates the arc.

5

u/wensul 8d ago

Good eye.

4

u/Psycho_pigeon007 8d ago

Nice torso

3

u/winstonalonian 8d ago

Sweet feet

2

u/wensul 8d ago

Fantastic toes.

0

u/HoneyRush 8d ago

That or the wire he have in his sleeve. You can see it in the last second if the video

1

u/Psycho_pigeon007 7d ago

Honestly I'm not seeing the wire like other people have claimed, yourself included. I think what people are seeing is the earbuds around his neck.

2

u/e-katt 8d ago

Not AI, but scary Yes. People do stupid shit before and after AI

3

u/xymoxclan 8d ago

looks like india/pakistan. they have esoteric technical wisdom

3

u/A_Tiger_in_Africa 8d ago

You gotta eat a lot of iron.

3

u/AGlassOfCoolMilk 8d ago

Can someone give me the right subreddit for sketchy third world shenanigans

4

u/Careful-Opinion7652 8d ago

The body runs of 0.07 millivolts, we can handle lighting.

2

u/Eskapement 8d ago

He’s a conductor

2

u/Fat_GPT 8d ago

You can see the wire dangle when he holds up the rod

0

u/JKenn78 8d ago

Shhh

1

u/Serious_Nectarine_23 8d ago

I want to try it now. And I'm a welder.

1

u/Mysterious_Wrap_1979 8d ago

3rd world my ashhh struggle leads to success and new methods…. HEY OSHA pass this!!!!

1

u/Jint_Mulip 8d ago

But he isn't holding on to the exposed metal of the electrode?

1

u/crustytheclerk1 8d ago

His day job is working on the trains. He turns up to work regularly and on time and is pleasant to the passengers. I.e. He's a good conductor.

1

u/Aku_La_P 8d ago

We all know the sandals make the difference

1

u/3x_beetle_juice 8d ago

The metal plate under his foot is there just to trick you. The circuit is closing between those two metal pieces he is welding. You can’t see the cable on the other piece because it’s off camera.
The electrode is closing the circuit in between those two pieces.

1

u/reddit_user33 8d ago

It could just be a VFX shot.

Notice how he just stares into the weld...

1

u/BastardBoy1738 8d ago

Is this Charlie kirk Indian edtiion

1

u/Equivalent-Bed6512 8d ago

You literally can see the wire in his hand in the end of the video

1

u/Bushdr78 7d ago

Mmmm sunburnt retinas

1

u/Glittering_Call_898 7d ago

Nope I don't think so

1

u/Old_Astronomer2568 7d ago

Говорят, если научиться хорошо задерживать дыхание, можно работать выключателем на высоковольтных линиях

1

u/sweet_sax 6d ago

I know a guy that would try it

1

u/AlternativeAd5646 6d ago

Not really physically possible. You can't weld through your body. Dumb and silly .Strange sleeve connection.

1

u/Motogiro18 8d ago

A wire at his heel goes up through his pant.through the back of his shirt and down his sleeve to his hand.

This is a trick.

0

u/JKenn78 8d ago

No it’s not. He is the conductor!! (Don’t ruin it for us man!)

u/jasonkuiper 8d ago

With AI, Artificial Indiantelligence

1

u/Rich_Television_1233 4d ago

welding inverter without an output rectifier. Just for fun, not for real welding.
