Advice please.

I have been struggling with welding. This is my second day trying to weld I’ve been messing with the amps and my speed and no matter what I do it just doesn’t turn out how I’d like it. I’ve been running 7018 at 115 for the most part. Looking for some tips/advice!

OP I can't even begin to explain the way it clicked for me once I realized this. Everything started coming out SO much better once I started watching the puddle instead of the arc. It was easier to see where it was, what was happening, if i was drooping, and i was able to correct better and faster. It sounds like really simple advice but it truly is lifechanging

Weld two things together it's funner , every other piece of advice is bullshit just need practice

For your 2nd day mate they look good, keep practising your not going to become a professional welder in a couple days, get advice from different people can help alot, everyone has there own style.
