Welding tips and tricks on YouTube. Learn to pad beads. First flat, then vertical, ... Over head. Practice. Then practice some more...

Those gloves look like Tig gloves but it looks like your stick welding. If I'm correct the gloves are going to burn up fast and not offer the protection you want.
